It’s undeniable, Sadie Sink is the Queen of the screens. The stunning redhead has us regularly questioning if we need to book an appointment with the salon to take our tresses to her vibrant auburn tone. But that’s not the only beauty inspo we’re taking from her. Sink’s style on and off the screens tends to be minimalist in the chicest way, with the star opting for makeup-free days, or a sheer, lightweight look. That is, however, not the case for her statement lip.
A bold bright red lip is the one big beauty move Sink tends to make on red carpets. But honestly, we’re here for her slow progression into a makeup girlie. Because if you ask us, ‘fresh beauty’ won’t ever go out of style.
And so we did a little digging to find out exactly which products Sink counts as her must-haves (as well as any insider beauty secrets she’s learned along the way)…
Sadie Sink Skin Care
Spoiler alert: Sink has a thing for expensive (but worth it products), because the solid oil balm she’s been using for years also costs a fortune. Even though she “hate(s) spending that much money on skin care” she promises it “lasts a really long time”. So, what is this mysterious balm that we’ll be saving every dollar up to get? May Lindstrom’s The Blue Cocoon ($375 at May Lindstrom). We can physically feel the money slipping out of our hands here. But Sink says it’s a worthwhile splurge sooo…
As for the rest of her routine, Sink keeps it relatively simple, making sure to give her skin a good cleanse (regardless of her makeup routine), with the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel ($100.10 at Adore Beauty). And on the incredibly rare occasion that she does get a pimple, Sink patches up with the COSRX Acne Pimple Master Patch ($7.90 at Adore Beauty). Take the budget-friendly W, because high-key, these patches are seriously next level.
Sink always makes sure to end her morning routine with a good coating of sun protection (because sunscreen and protective clothing are both key).
Sadie Sink Beauty
Like we said, the star doesn’t wear makeup on the daily. And why would she? Have you seen her flawless glowing skin? But when she does, it’s a simple swipe of Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Concealer ($73 at Adore Beauty) and, get this, Vaseline! Yep, the star opts for Vaseline ($4 at Priceline) over any lip balm or gloss. Why is she just so real? Love her for that!
And the realness doesn’t stop there. Speaking with Byrdie she gave us a hot tip she learnt from her various glam teams. Get this, most of the time the ‘blush’ we see Sink wearing is actually from lipstick! It makes sense given her preference for a bold red, but who would’ve thought? TBH, our blush addiction is out of control so we probably won’t be stopping our blush shopping anytime soon. But good to have up our sleeves just in case!
We know ‘All Too Well’ that makeup pressures can get a bit… much, so it’s seriously refreshing to see Sink embracing the skin she’s in!
